Day at the Renaissance Center (Pics)

Well, lets just say today was a VERY LONG DAY! I don't know how to make this short but....I had to drive to downtown Detroit today for some stuff I had to deliver to a Bridal show with some of my other co-workers. I drove a big box truck (U-Haul size) and they followed me since I knew the way. As we hop on M-10 I am told to pick up the pace because we are late. As I glance over to my left side-view mirror, I see the cop with his strobing headlight, and eventually hear his sirens once I turn down the music. I get pulled over by the state policemen for being in the left lane (Passing someone!) and for speeding. I DO NOT have a chauffeurs license, so he hassled me about that. I get a ticket for speeding and being in the left lane.

This was all before 10am!!!

We get to the Bridal show, and while we are there I decide to snoop around for a little bit, too bad all I had was my BlackBerry. I took a few photos of the Renaissance Center, and I must say that place is AMAZING!! Again, sorry for the quality!

In the WAITING ROOM of the Marriott that is inside the Renaissance.. a 6 LITER, V8, 6SPD AUTOMATIC Pontiac! In a little Pontiac!!

I was told that you can ask for and get a tour on one of the top floors of ONSTAR. It is about a 1 hour tour and well worth seeing. Next time I'm back there in Michigan I will go see it myself.

Yeah - Me and a few buddies are going down there next week just to look around. I would love to make it up to the 70th floor. I'll be sure to take pics and ask for that OnStar tour!
