Default First car..

What was your first car?

Mine was a 1996 Grand Am, Cherry Red, it was a really nice car for a 16 year old! At the time it was 6 years old I think, I ended up getting t-boned in my high school parking lot, though (of no fault of my own though..)

How about you?? (Share pics!)

My first car was a 75 impala. It was fun. It had a cracked head and would fog out 3 blocks when ever I started it.

Talking Re: First car..

The summer after we got married (1967) we got tired of riding the bus to the grocery store, and bought...
...a used 1960 Ford Falcon (Really - said to be from a little ole Lady - for $250). This was in West Va, with lots of road salt. I had a local shop patch and paint it for a hundred bucks. The story continues...
After 3 years (1970 - on my way to the Air Force), we got a 1970 Dodge Dart, and sold the Falcon to my Dad for $1 (had to sell it for something to legally change the title). Dad used the Falcon to and from the coal mines for 5 years.
When I came back to WV in 1973 to go to dental school (with 3 boys), I needed a second car to drive to school! Some of you already guessed it! My Dad sold me the Falcon back for $1!!! I used that Falcon for the 4 years of school. Every summer I would patch the rust, and spray it with 3 spray cans of Baby Blue paint. And....
When I finished professional school, I sold the car for $100!!

(NOW I'M DEPRESSED!! Although it wouldn't pass emmission testing - it probably got better gas mileage than my Turbo)
