Was in Human Resources for almost a decade, then two years ago decided to join the Army on a whim. I'm an Artilleryman, though for about the last year I've been training to be an Arabic translator.

I'm not THAT good, lol. I am taught verbally, with the people I work with. I have no clue how to spell the words, just the pronunciation.

All I did understand was Dearborn...Biggest Arab community on earth

That was my Hooked on Phonics spelling. If it was true Arabic, it'd be in the Arabic alphabet ..... but I don't have an Arabic keyboard. It's actually easier for me to read it than speak it. Spoken is still too fast for me to understand normally. Sounds like jibber jabber.

Right now I'm doing liquid manure injection. Essentially I drive a 325hp 4WD tractor at under 2mph for 12-14 hours each day spreading hog/dairy manure in a field. The work sucks, the hours are long, (last year I had some 90 hour weeks!) but the pay rocks! I'm one of the few people that can legitimately have a sh_tty job! I'm hoping to eventually become a paramedic.
