Working (In Denmark) as an IT consultant for a company that produces software for the armed forces and for healthcare.

That's pretty much what I've done so far in teaching myself how to do it. I love graphic design. But I'm all into the girlyness of baby announcements and birthday invites. a little different. hahaha

My suggestion would be to buy a template and then work backwards.. for webdesign. We bought a template for church, then I did all the customs to it plus all the other graphics and I've learned a lot about design and DreamWeaver/Photoshop.. MorningStar Community Church -- Sharing God's love with each other, our community, and the world

I do regulatory work for the US subsidiary of a pharmaceutical co. based out of Copehagen, Denmark.

i love the color scheme to your churches' website, i like it alot =P
yeah i use microsoft frontpage and adobe photoshop cs2.

You know, one thing you can do is look on craigslist and things like that for some freelance jobs to try them out. Tons of places would love to pay less for a 'student' who can still do a good job for logos and things like that. I've gotten some good jobs through doing that.

Glad I could be of some help.

Either make up a little ad and post it, or just go through and search "graphic designer needed" or something similiar. Something that may be great for you would be fliers for concerts and things like that.
