Default FORD helps monitor the kids

Ford announced that in two years (why it takes so long I don't know) they will have a key for many of their cars that the parents can give the "kids" when they take the family car out. The parent will be able to program the key to limit the speed of the car. It will also be able to be programmed to limit the sound volume from the stereo and it will monitor the use of the seat belt and give continuous warnings until the seat belt is used.

sounds like a great idea , just wondering why it takes so long to get it going now rather than 2 years ??
