My friend's Aveo is a perfect car to squeeze what mpg he can out of it. I guess I should have said the PT is a less than ideal car to do it with.

Hypermiling is a term used in North America that refers to a set of techniques used to maximize fuel economy

I'm 'squeezing' the most MPG's I can get out of my PT, so it seems pretty ideal to me.

I'll do it when I can't afford gas and that will probably never happen. Because of gas prices I've toned it done a bit, but it is also with the knowledge I have an extremely quick car and I've nothing to prove to anyone. What's the use of having a fast car if you don't use it a bit? I do drive my wife's '04 PT like a grandpa, which I am, but then again a na PT is slower than frozen mud anyways.

Ok Im gonna ask what the heck is a NA PT

is that just a non turbo version which mine is with a auto and slower than sticky mud is a great way to describe it

but it would look cool sitting on a set of 12.5x38x16's

NA stands for non aspirated or non turbo. Don't get me wrong I loved my na '01 and my wife's na '04. Great fun to cruise in.

Didn't know you had the fastest car on the market. My apologies - I'll be out of your way for sure.

So you are going to take the smart a$$ route? I've been playing nice, but if you want to take it to another level that is your problem. There is always someone out there faster, but I have nothing to prove. What don't you understand about that?
