Might as well wade into my newest car forum. I have been reading a little here, and hope that this is a good section for this topic. If not, I suppose some moderator will have to help out a newb and move it to where it belongs. Another note: I am not involved in any car business(it's not legal for import in N.A. anyway), I just thought people here might get a kick out of it.
Anyway, I drove a couple of JDM (RHD) Toyota Celica GT4 coupes (aka as Alltracs in USA/AWD Turbo Celica in Canada) before I picked up my PT, and still browse the Japanese exporter sites. While there, I spotted this beauty of a pick-up truck. Tell me there is no PT influence on this custom... Japan Auto Direct : Used Cars : 1998 TOYOTA HILUX PICKUP CUSTOM RETRO-AMERICAN BODYWORK ![]() ![]() Anyway, look forward to hanging out and learning more about the PT from the smart and friendly people here. Tell me what you think of the truck - I see a real PT influence, but with a twist of the round headlights on the fender. There might be a little of old Dodge truck in there as well.

Hey Heavy,
Welcome to the Forum! Cool find! Here is another pic I have always wondered what it would actually look like on a PT. This is actually a reproduction fiberglass body of a 39 Studebaker pick up built on a Chevy S10 Chassis. Since their are a few known instances where people have actually mated a PT front end with an S10, the parts from this should be close to being dead on. Though a lot of people are kinda mixed on the idea, or if it would look good, or not, I still think the one piece tilt front end might be a cool, and different look for the PT! Anyways Here is an example of grfting a PT to a Chevy: ![]() And here is the 39 Studababker body I was talking about: ![]() ![]() What do you think? I can see a little potential somewhere in there! Anyways, once again, Welcome, go eazy, and I will catch ya later! Candyman

Thanks, Candyman & prettybluewoody(first vehicle I have had in 18 years that had some real color to it).
Candyman, I will pass on the PT Blazer, but I love the Studebaker conversion on the S10 - very nice.
