Default I'm back..

Sorry I haven't been around much, I have been working it seems almost non stop recently, and then as soon as it came, I lost my job. So now it's back to doing nothing all day..

I will try to stop by every day and start helping with the mod duties, looks like the spam is out of control here recently... I am the member of several forums online, so I got to spread out my time...

Unhappy Re: I'm back..

Welcome back Johnathan!
Sorry it is under less than desirable circumstances.
Pulled my back today helping the son do our side fence.
Shame you're not closer, I'd employ you too.
The son came up from Houston to help me, where he was working for an engineering firm, doing their 3D designs and animation. He got laid off in early January.

A back injury is no fun, just finished with a series of epidurals for my back.

I would take you up on that too...
This has been my latest hobby while off work, I built it myself in October. I now realized it needs money to eat, so getting back to work is a priority..

Red face Re: I'm back..

Hey their thegoldpt,

Welcome back to the Forum! Dang, that looks like a serious hobby you got their!

And I second that back injury stuff being no fun! I am getting 4 steroid injections in my low back a month for life, along with a whole pharmacy of pain med's, muscle relaxants, meds for bleeding ulcer, blood pressure meds, and even more meds to counter the long term effects on kidneys, and liver! Don't recommend it to anyone! Take good care of your back!!!

I bought the lower (the firearm requiring paperwork and background checks) stripped, bought a lower parts kit, bolt carrier, and charging handle, buttstock, buffer, buffer tube, and upper and assembled it all into a working rifle.

I modeled it after the one my dad used in vietnam, he enjoys shooting it, brings back a bunch of memories.

I could take it all apart and put it together blindfolded. Had to.
Thanks for making me feel old (okay, so I am). I was in 'Nam 4/68-8/69.
