Wife got home the other night and said that the battery light had come on.I got the tester out and sure enough,it test 12.3.So I tell here to get an alternator and I'll pull it off while see gone. Then I start looking where its at and said,I better get the book out.So after seeing you have to take half the front end apart to get it off.Well got it all apart and just as I was starting to pull the alternator out, noticed a wire that was bare so I repaired it and got it hooked back up out of the way and thought I better have the old alternator checked.Sure enough it worked fine and it was just that wire that had rubbed thur against the front axle.Put her back together, put grease fittings in the bottom ball joints, painted the calipers and put the summer wheels back on.Just like new again
