Default Should I buy back my first car and sell my honda ex?

First off, I know this post doesn't belong here. But I want THIS part of the forums opinion, so if possible please dont delete or move my thread.

So here is my predicament. My first car was a Camaro that my dad had in the family since I was 2 years old. He stopped maintaining it, and was gonna sell it but I told him to give it to me and I'd fix it up and keep driving it. So I got a nasty cam, did some head work, an intake, full exhaust etc... and I ended up selling it because I busted the clutch master cyl line and needed to drive something.

So. FFWD to today, about 6 years later after I sold it. The previous owner told me he was gonna fix the body and when it was completed, call me and offer to sell it back to me. He left the motor/ tire / exhaust alone and fixed the body (and he has a new black w/ gray insert interior on the way). So today I get the call. That magical call. He will sell the car I've regretted selling since 2mins after selling, back to me.

Now here's my issue. If I buy the camaro back, I'd have to sell my civic. Which means I'd be getting a mid 90's Hatch for a gas mileage car. Does this sound fair? Sell my '05 and buy back my memory filled Camaro, and buy a nice clean hatch... or keep the '05?

You decide!!

Matt

Then (ignore the ghetto shop me and my buddy were working in..):

What my sweetheart looks like now, with almost 400hp and fresh paint

Nobody but you can make this decision, though I will say if you don't buy back the Camaro is it a regret you could live with? If you do buy back the Camaro and get the 90's hatch can you afford to put money into the hatch cause a 90's model will probably need some work?

Well I've regretted selling it since the day I sold it.. and I know it broke my dads heart. There are hundreds of memories from that car when I was younger and life was so much different. I learned to drive in that car, and I ripped apart my first engine with that car.

I know how to shop well.. so I'd make a wise choise in purchasing my new Honda.. but yes there would be a bit of lee-way money for any mishaps.

See, if I dont get this Camaro back, I'm getting a bike when I get out of the Army

While riding a bike is really great ask yourself if you have a death wish? I rode a bike in Cali for a while and I got tired of drivers of cars and trucks trying to end my life. Took all of the fun out of it.

lol. Dont mean to laugh but that was kinda funny. I'd only be driving it to work though, which is where most of my gas is going to waste.

Oh God, please, take the Camaro back. It's got t-tops..

My dad had an '87 IROC with a fully built 350TPI with a Lunati cam, a 3" Flowmaster system, through a rebuilt 700R4 tranny. It was beautiful. Then some dick stole it, drove it to shit, stripped it, and ditched the shell in New Jersey. A part of me died that day.

I sold my 1994 (first year with the shark front end) red Camaro back in March when I bought this PT.

It also had T-tops and was a nice car... too many things going wrong with it mechanically and at 180,000 miles I had just had enough.

I can live with selling it, only because it was a V6
