I love the wood shelf you have. I actually run a cabinet door shop and think I can build a wood one for my Crusier. Do you have any pictures of just the shelf itself. Just so I can get a good idea of how it is made. Any thing you can give will be greatly appreciated. If it's easier feel free to email it to me at kelly@dobsononline.com. Thanks.

Thanks for your replies.I have thought about adding a piece of wood to the bottom shelf that will slide out as a little work area for my rc cars when i am at the track, but its still just a thought.

Hmmm. Just a suggestion for a work area. You could put a pull out section under the top shelf using something like a keyboard drawer, just make sure to have a locking mechanism so it can be secured when not in use, this would still give you a flat area to use if you wanted to flip the top tray over.

That was already my thoughts exactly,I just need to find the sliders for it.Definately a good idea for a lock for it.

My DW wanted slideout shelves in her pantry. I found shelf sliders at Home Depot and installed them with shelves for her. I believe these would work for your installation. I think they came in different lengths.
