Sometimes I don't think you can ever put on enough clothes!!! And yes we have lots and lots of Indians here in Manitoba.

This picture is from a few years ago, but last winter this is the kind of weather we had from about Dec to Mar!!!

I don't know why they had to go up north to do that show, they could have done it here in Winnipeg with the same results

Apparently I heard that the show is very popular over in Europe

-52 WC? That's a bit nippy!

I have to laugh around here. They close the schools if they see a snowflake and people grumble if it gets less than 60 and they're pulling out the down parkas and such. I just have to wonder what they'd do if it ever got really cold?

Of course, in summer, I'm melting.

Walked to school once 2.5 miles when the snowplow couldn't get thru. Teacher made me sit by the furnace until I got warm and my clothes dried then sent me home with a note for my folks. I think she chewed them out. Of course, it took me a couple of hours each way climbing over the drifts. I think I ate my lunch tho. Yes, it was about 60 years ago in Michigan, weather is a lot different now!!!

School is a lot different too , during hunting season we carried our 22 rifles and 410 shotguns to school and put them in a gun rack in the principals office and after school hunted small game on the way home...
The only School Shootings we had were rifle matches with other schools.

Carried a 16 Ga. Bolt Action on the school bus, left it in my locker until I made a Gun Safety, put it back in the locker, rode the bus home that night. Altogether different now a days!!!
