I have been targeting a new account, which is the only car dealer I have ever tried to get my foot in the door. Most car dealers don't pay detailers to do the right kind of job, thus I stay away. However after 6 months of talking to these guys and having meetings I'm getting a couple cars a week now, and they pay my price. The name might tell you why I've worked so hard on it> Fox Valley Lamborghini, Ferarri, Lotus Motors. Yestersday I got the call. They had a Diablo that needed to look like the cover of a magazine. Normally I pick the cars up and bring them to my shop. Only 6 miles away. But this car, they delivered in an enclosed trailer. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? This is without a doubt an extremely intimidating car. if I can I will post pics when done. I feel like a kid in school, and this is the final exam. (I will have chant to myself, its only a car, its only a car)Gary

WOW Gary. That's quite a big fish you landed. Now just don't let it get away! Anxious to see the pictures of a job well done.

Now you did it Gary.
You owe us some pics. CONGRATULATIONS and have FUN. I know you will. BTW, I received the package from you last week. (I bought 1 of everything you sell). My PT is in the driveway waiting to be washed and then I'll get to work. My plan is 1. Wash with DAWN. 2. Clean paint with CLAY. 3. Wash again and dry 4. Apply 2 coats of your SEALER. Thanks to you, I hope I'm on the right track. Let me know if I'm not.

Congratulations GT STEVE! You will love the product. I did it to mine but only put one coat of the sealer on. Should there be 2 Gary? I guess I have time before the snow flys. I would love to post a picture but this old man can't figure out how.

The main reason I apply two coats is to insure complete coverage. In the case of sealant, MORE IS NOT BETTER. I always apply very thin coats and allow time for complete drying before I buff. I like to wait a day or longer between coats to give the sealant time to cure. Hope this helps. BTW, did you see my post on drying? |

I took the pics today and will post a few later. I have one with the bottle of Gary's sealer on the hood. I had to set it above the washer nozzle because it kept slipping off the hood.
The car looks SUPER. In my opinion even better than Zaino if that is possible. I know one thing for sure. I'm sold on Gary's stuff.
