Bob,
I enjoy Oklahoma, Ive spent some time in other states, but all in all Oklahoma has everything I want. Cold winters, great springtime, nice HOT summers and supurb autumn afternoons. It gets too cold and too hot, but if you didnt have the extremes how could you enjoy the gentleness of a spring shower or, a Fabulous fall evening with the wind gently blowing the changing leaves? We have everything the "Little Sahara" is a vast area in the northern central part of the state that is totally desertlike. The Southwestern part of the state is "Rocky" moutainous around Lawton/Altus. The Southeastern part is similar to the mountains of Tennessee. The Tulsa area is known as "Green Country" with lakes and rivers. Central Oklahoma is relaxed with a great cost of living. Not too many people with a descent highway system. Yeah, I guess you can say I'm happy here. [8]just braggin'

I'm as far West as you can go in NJ before you hit Pennsylvania. It's dairy farm country and I love it. I hate that the winters last too long, but I've been in Florida in July (can't imagine August) and it reminded me of VietNam (not a good thing). California weather was nice, but there isn't a society there - just a collection of individuals.
Best overall I've been - Australia. Low population density, lovely weather.

I was born & raised in the Richmond, VA area. It can be hot and humid in the summer and cold in the winter but to me there is no place like home. If I get too hot in the summer I slap on my speedo (a sight you really don't want to see!) and hit the water. If it's a bit too cold in winter I throw a log on the fire and cuddle a little closer to my honey. We have the Blue Ridge mountains to the west and the Chesapeake Bay and the Atlantic Ocean to the east and each less than a two hour drive. We have lots of trees and lots of flowers and lots of beautiful rolling farm lands. Our cities are big enough to allow a taste of city life but not big enough to make you feel walled in by people. As I get older, the ideal of becoming a snow bird and wintering in Florida has some appeal as long as I could return to VA in early spring. I've traveled around the world and around the country in my youth but it didn't take long for me to start singing, "Carry Me Back to Old Virginia".

Hi!
I live in Stuttgart, Germany. Mostly cold and rainy, I would like to move to Fla, where I use to spend my holidays in the Naples area. Since 2000, my rental-cars always were PT Cruisers, in 2004, I hope to get a turbo !!! Peter [8)] |

I haved lived in the Atlanta area since I was 12 (about 18 years or so), and I love it.I want to spend my life here.
We have mild weather, lots of stuff to do, I'm close to Atlanta but not *too* close, gas is cheap, ciggs are cheap, women are......not cheap, but beautiful! If your kid graduates high school with a B average, they're guaranteed a free college education (thanks to the Lottery), and we're only 4 hours from the Gulf Coast.
