Default Save Over Time PAY

I don't know about you but I would say any over time pay I receive I put into my cruiser or put away towards retirement. Unfortunately The leader of this great country want's to cut it, check it out!

I hope I am not breaking the rules, but, I did not see any restrictions on political stuff.

This could affect us all.

Normally they give us 'Comp Time' vice overtime pay. The thing that bugs me about 'Comp Time' is that you only get it 1:1, one hour over time = one hour comp time. To my reasoning that isn't fair, if I had received overtime pay it would have been time and a half so I feel one hour over time should equal one and one half hours comp time.

Does this makes sense to anyone else?

Not quite clear from the link what's being proposed - straight pay versus time-and-a-half?

Hey, nobody Bush hangs around with gets paid hourly.

Under the Bush proposal, workers, including police officers, nurses, store supervisors and many other workers, would face unpredictable work schedules and reduced pay because of an increased demand for extra hours for which employers would not have to compensate workers, according to an Economic Policy Institute report released June 26.

Workers making more than $22,100 a year could be denied overtime pay under the proposed changes if they are reclassified as professional, administrative or executive employees exempt from federal overtime rules.

Thanks. I went back and signed the petition. Hard to believe it's legal to do that, executive order or not. [V]
