New Chevy pick up
Don';t know what its called, but the new Chevy pick up looks cool, front end looks like a 40's car. maybe someone has pics they can show.

There's a guy that has one here locally, to me it looks kind of plain, doesn't look as good as it does in the pictures.

Recently saw one at the weekly car show in the area. It was something like #250 from production. They wanted, I believe it was, $59k for it. Nice looking retro styling!

Back in '84, my cousin and I drove a 1953 Chevy pickup from Sacramento to Milwaukee. It was both an adventure ("See the USA in your Chevrolet") and a nightmare (6-volt generator and externally plumbed oil filter). More specifically, it was a generator with sparks-a flying at 5:00AM in the middle of nowhere Nevada, and a busted oil line spraying down the exhaust manifold on I-80 in Salt Lake City. We were smokin' like a S.O.B. [?] You know that Wallflowers song "One Headlight":
**Well this place is old **It feels just like a beat up truck **I turn the engine, but the engine doesn't turn Been there. Done that. PERFECT theme song. We got it home alright... with two half-headlights flickering like a speed freak.
