Anyone play Need for Speed Underground?

I got it for PS2 a few weeks ago, and I can't stop playing! It's cool that you can keep unlocking other mods, and when you add them, they have name brands that you can use. It's pretty cool. No PT, though. Only mostly the ricer-type cars, although they do have a Neon (not the SRT).

Anyone else played this game? What do you think?

i play nfs underground , this game is very addictive. it os getting harder and harder to win those drag races, just seems like everybpdys car is faster then mine , even though i have stage 2 nitrous and turbo. maybe i need more style

Guys, My 11 year old son Mike is standing here next to me, he has it (he was looking at gary's penquins falling in the water) he noticed this post, Mike says it is the best car game in the world. how does that sound for feedback? gary

I was playing it for a while just to try it out. Neat game, but too much of the ricer scene for me. Started playing "R Racing Evolution" for a bit, that game is good for a quick blast. Getting ready to play Sega GT Online (XBox) and I've got Gran Turismo 4 Prologue Edition waiting to be loaded up once I get my PS2 back from my brother.

Yes I have both (and much, much more). I used to work in video game retail for about 7 years so I guess you could call me a true gamer .

As for which is better, I personally prefer the XBox. Multiplayer Halo is an experience NOT to me missed. I really only played Gran Turismo on the PS2 (FireWire connected 2 PS2's for head-to-head competition is great), my brother used it most of the time to play his Final Fantasy games. When is comes to modified systems it becomes a much clearer choice... XBox all the way!

There's another driving game for Xbox only that I played last week at a friend's house. I think it's called Project Gotham racing 2. It's really cool because it's got all kinds of requirements and tests and stuff yuo have to pass on each level track, and it has a bunch of different classes of cars. Makes me want an xbox....
