Visit to the G35 forum

Just got back from a visit to the G35 forum http://6mt.net/forum/forum.asp?FORUM_ID=14 and all I can say is WOW! Its amazing, the claims that are flying around that place. (That car is about the same weight and HP as our car is with S2.) Yet according to them, they are killing every thing from EVO's to Modded Mustangs. This mind you with a car that does the 1/4 mile in 14 sec and at 100-105MPH. [:I]

I am sorry but that is really a crappy forum. A bunch of egos thumping their chests. I just looked at the first 3 threads and it was nothing but bragging about beating any car they could figure out how to spell. Nothing constructive there.

maybe i should post up about all the times i've embarrassed these rides on the highway...and i mean EMBARASS!!!! Dropping from 5th to 3rd and boosting hard, while he was still trying to figure out why my car was making such "funny noises". Even 350Z's are nothing big to write home about, they are way overpriced...

Oh man, I boosted so hard on this G35 once. Dropped 'er from 5th to 3rd, oh what sweet music my inline 4 made throwing power out to the fronts while my solid rear axel held the turns like an M3... my PT sure is built for racing.

Sometimes when I destroy a G35, I throw on my rear wiper, just to let 'em know who's boss, like someone shaking a finger at 'em. My PT says "B*tch, you know better than that, tsk, tsk." It's so funny, they get so mad, grrrrr.

I gotta go, I'm late for boy scouts, but it's been fun guys. Keep killing those G's. [8)]

A car that runs a low 14@100MPH will beat a few Mustangs. It took me a while before my ImpalaSS broke into the 13's and I was still beating Mustangs and Camaros (not SS) along the way. I'll be bolting on LT4 heads and GMPP LT4 hot cam to get down into the 12 second bracket this spring.

I thought the EVO was a 13.xx second car. The PT has some potential, but I won't be racing it. The mods have begun though, and I reserve the right to change my mind.[8)]
