A proper polar bear...

This baby polar bear was sat with his mum on an ice berg.

"Mum," he asked, "am I a real polar bear?"

"Yes darling, of course you are." his mother answered.

"Yeah but, am I a proper polar bear, you know, a real one?"

"Yes dear," his mum replied, "You're dad is a polar bear, I'm a polar bear and your sister's a polar bear."

"I know that mum," he said, "but am I a proper polar bear?"

"Of course you are" said his mum, "now shut up and eat your penguin."

A minute later the baby polar bear asks "Mum, I know what you've said, but am I really a proper polar bear?"

"Look," she says, "you are a proper bloody polar bear alright. What's wrong with you? Why do you keep asking me that?"

"Well," he replies, "I'm freezing".

Just for info - no penguins at North Pole, and no Polar bears at South Pole, so they should be eating seal. Also, joke would be as funny without the F... adjective.

I didn't make it up, I just read it and thought it was funny... posted it without thinking to check it for inaccuracies, after all, it's just a joke. I've edited and removed the " " adjective, but to me, it's not as funny.

I assume said adjective modified "freezing". Yes, it is much funnier with it. In fact, the joke really was not funny without it, for its absence castrated the character twist, the whole of the punchline to the joke. I actually lost respect for IRPT for posting it, until I learned what happened afterwards. I do not think even Geo's ^&^&$#&*! can save it. JODY, DELETE THIS THREAD FOR LACK OF HARSH LANGUAGE!

Rolo, you are one smart dude! You hit the nail on the head with "for its absence castrated the character twist", that is what made the joke funny. I went back and edited it to make a point, thank you, you have validated my point.
