Default Chrysler Crossfire SRT-6

March 22 Automotive News reports that in late Summer Chrysler will start selling an SRT-6 Crossfire in Coupe and Roadster versions.
It will have a 330HP 3.2L Supercharged V6 with 229lb-feet of Torque.

The first Chrysler to wear the SRT badge.......can the SRPT-4 be far behind?

We can only dream.

That car really needed a kick in the HP department, but Test Drive on the Speed Channel had rave reviews even with its current 215HP configuration. Interesting though that the SRT-6 will only put out 229lb-feet of torque...my PT, albeit with Stage 1, just dyno'd at 196-210 depending on intake used. Imagine the Crossfire with something like 300lb-feet of torque to go along with the HP boost - now that would really be cool!

Yeah, I kind of question wether that's a typo or not.It sounds way low.

I would think with the stock 215 HP the car would be plenty fast figuring that is the same HP as a PT Turbo. I'm sure the car ways less also, but I don't know by how much. Does it have less torque in stock form?
It would be a cool car. Useless but cool just the same. I'm sure it will be around $50,000 though. Not cool.

"can the SRPT-4 be far behind?"

answer: Yes. Maybe that's where all the stage 2 systems went!
