There are lots of tanning salons in Texas, too, even though we have a climate similar to Florida's in a lot of the state. I keep a tan most of the year to some extent but have tried to be better about using sunscreen as I got older- don't burn very easily, but it can sneak up on you! I love the pool and beach and should be better about staying out of the sun, especially at my age, but life is for LIVING! I prefer the sun for tanning- the price is right, unless you overdo![8D]
