Default Pop ups

Does anyone else get popups when they click here on one of the forums[:I] besides me. Seems like it's always expedia or gain. If this is part of the forum okay but if not I'm wondering what gives?

I get NO popups on this Forum. I use netzero which tells you when there is a popup.

I don't get anything. Just bought a computer, pluged it in and pushed the start button. Come to think of it, on my old computer I didn't get any pop-ups either.

I have ad subtract (popup blocker) on my computer and it still won't keep the popups from coming up

You must have a "Gain" program installed in your computer.

Check in "add/remove Progams" to see if you have something strange installed in your PC. This shows up related with some "Gator" programs like "Precision Time" or other programs downloaded from the internet.

Ad-subtract is very efective, But it won't stop Gator based popups.

We have no pop-up ads served by this Forum. If you see them here, they're coming from somewhere else.

Admin is right. There's no pop-ups from this forum. I do have a pop-up blocker (try it..it's free www.endpopups.com ) and it lets me know whenever it stops them from coming up and nothing is showing up.

You can also use the latest Google toolbar (http://toolbar.google.com/) which has a built in popup stopper and does a good job. Also, I highly recommend running Spy Bot (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=mirrors) to remove unwanted spyware that finds its way to ones computer.
