Coors sued for 10% of net worth

Some dumb A$$ under aged kid got drunk on Coors beer and went out and drove a car and either got himself killed or badly hurt. Now the parents are suing Coors for targeting youth on their commercials saying the young looking actors on the commercials make drinking look like it's OK for young people to drink and girls/sports cars etc. will be the rewards for drinking their product.

That 10% "net worth" of Coors, is either 10 million or billion...just caught a fraction of the story on CNN.

so wait parents weren't doing their job son gets drunk does something horrible and they sue? if i got drunk and wrecked my car and got hurt, my parents would wait till i get better and then beat the crap out of me, part of the reason i don't drink. that and i love my PT

Agree totally. My wife and I still talk about some couple whose kid was killed riding a bike and got hit by a car. Parents sued the store that sold it & the bike manufacturer - for not including a light or warnings - WHAT WAS THE KID DOING OUT AT 10:00 PM??? I would like to see counter-suits for negligent parenthood.

Thats what the top people in the company dream about when there piss ant drunk. Some of thats where they get there advertising ideas from.
