Maybe there'll be a new cop car out there to replace Crown Vics? Also, taxis...

The 300C would make an awesome cop car. I hope they have a Police Interceptor' model planned. Just seeing it already strikes fear, but add the blue red lights...get outa here!

Think the Pacifica would be great if, in the next couple of years, they offered it with the HEMI and a 5-speed Autostick. [8D]
There's gonna be a tweaked version of it coming out within the year.

A couple of the guys in my Marauder club have already sent a couple of these cars home crying. You see they have Roots type superchargers (400+hp at the wheels) on their Marauders and have blown the doors off the 300C. It was quite funny that these guys, in 300's pulled up and thought they were going to beat up on these cars. Nothing like surprising people with something they hadn't plan on. They bought their cars for like $27,000 and put $6000 into the blowers. That puts in the area of the 300C price. I like the 300C and compliment Chrysler on making a powerful rear wheel drive car. If I didn't have my Marauder I would look at one.

Well, I would bet that any cop-version would wait for the cheaper trim level Dodge variant, and they wouldn't use a wagon, it would need to be a sedan, and if you look in the May 2004 Automobile magazine on page 65, you will see a Dodge Charger 4-door Sedan, which of course is similar in proportions and shape to the 300.Apparently the Dodge sedan is a sort of last-minute decision as Dodge dealers weren't pleased that all they were getting was the wagon and no sedan.apparently it is sensed by the industry that currently, only Subaru and Volvo have been able to make the wagon stay afloat, so the wagon platform is looked at as risky. It says the Dodge Charger Sedan (and no, it looks *nothing* like the Charger concept of a few years ago) is due out in the fall of 2005.
incidentally, there's a great write-up on the 300 and the Magnum in the same magazine on page 76.

You kidding me? The Magnum is dead sexay! But then I'm a wagon guy myself. If not for my wife's intervention I would have bought an early 90's Volvo turbo wagon and built me a sub-12 second turbo brick.

Thanks Ian. I haven't put a blower on mine yet. Can't see "blowin" off the warranty yet. I just have Flowmasters, chip and a 410 in the rearend. It really woke it up. I would say that it will probably run in the lower to mid 14's. One of our guys ran an 11.80 with his Marauder. It's funny, I love my Merc but I also love my PT.
