Default Anybody a hockey fan out there!?

Was just wondering if anyone's been watching these playoffs. They're insane!! Who would have thought that Calgary could be giving Detroit such a run. And San Jose going up 3-0 on Colorado!!?? I never would have imagined! These playoffs have been so much fun to watch, I just wanted to see if any other PT'ers were enjoying it as much as me.

You can see from my sig pic where my loyalties lie.....

We'll take 'em in 5!!!

Uh oh, I liked everything about yobiebs until now.

A Phily fan - gag- choke- cough cough.....

Phily is a tough team but if the Leafs play like they did on Wed. it will be too much for the Flyers to handle, we shall see tonight.

I agree we are getting some really good action this year, what a blast.

(Just a bit of fun)

PianT,

Although I bleed Orange for my team, I'm a hockey fan above all else (which is why i'm really concerned that this may be the last NHL hockey I see for a while with the CBA coming up....), which is probably why I was smiling when Mogilny scored that breakaway goal in game 3. Although it was against my team, that was a SWEET goal!

I think that the Flyer's big problem is getting through that damned 2nd period! They actually came out and outplayed the leafs in the 1st, but then let it all go to sh*t in the 2nd. By the end of that period, the Leafs had the momentum and there was no way the orange & black could dig themselves out of that hole.

I was lucky enough last season to take a trip up to Toronto, visit the hockey hall of fame, and catch a Flyers vs. Leafs game in the A.C. Centre. What a great place to see a game! And the fans there are some of the best I've seen!

I think the rest of this serious could get tough and nasty, but it'll be a blast to watch!

I think maybe Toronto needed the first two games to figure out Philly, they looked like a completely different team in game three.

If Eddy can stay in the net long enough and stop pretending to be a forward it would be good, man he makes me nervous when he does that, I'm waiting for him to get a goal.

Your guys are big, fast and tough, all the ingredients for an excellent team, I think if they can "beat up" on the Leafs a bit more in the first they may be able to knock the wind out of them for period two. Then again if Sundin and Mogilny are on their game they are hard to stop.

An excellent series so far, let's hope they go seven.

Go Leafs Go

I'm waiting for the Red Wings to find their game again. It is hard to believe they are only 2-2 at this time. At least IF they make the playoffs they don't have to meet Colorado!!!!

Yes, I live in Florida, transplanted from Michigan .

westgate, the bolts looked pretty good in that series, but truth is that Motreal never even really showed up to put up a fight. It should definitely be to their advantage the longer that philly/toronto series goes.

Hooligan, I'm still having a hard time figuring out if it's the weak play of the wings or the great play of the flames that have that series tied. But i think that the wings should be able to turn it up a notch and put the flames behind.

And don't count out the Avs just yet!

Gotta hand it to Calgary, not too often do you see a $35 million pay role play like that against a $75 million pay role.

They have there hands full, thats for sure.

I use to be a flyers fanatic now just an interested bystander. I'm so glad they got past the Devils I'm hoping they don't do the Philly thing and let up
