Cleaned out the cabin air filter and engine air filters on my Chrysler 200. They weren't too bad. I figure next oil change in about 5,000 miles or so and I'll change both of them.

Installed the Cuda fender scoops.

Those look great, but why do you call them "Cuda fender scoops"? Those are like the ones on the '71 Challenger R/Ts.

On our Challenger we went with lower valance 'cuda gills, like our ''70 'cuda. This is not our car, but it is the same molding. Our 2010 is black and we felt it needed a different color molding to slim the car down from the 300 based, high beltline. The black molding slims other colors, but with black, there is no contrast to fool the eye. FWIW, it is a pretty nice part, but it doesn't come with mounting screws so we ended up using Home Depot stuff. They have been on there about 4 years and parked outside in NYC. They required a repaint once, but otherwise have held up very well. Knock wood.

Got the engine out of the Jeep, ready to send the crankshaft to the machine shop.

did you have them check the one rod that spun the bearing? i would bring it when you pick up the crank.

i admire you're doing it the right way.

I took the crank and rod to the machine shop today. The rod is not repairable. The bad journal will need to be turned 20. They will turn all of the rods and see if they can polish the mains. Thanks for your support Rob!

This morning, I was working on fitness, as usual. It's hard maintaining movie star good looks. But it's up to me to keep the ladies happy and the other men inspired.

haha ya. I ran out of fresh strawberrys so had to use the pre-mix and wanted a little more color. Why you say ...well because colors matters!

This morning I am working on a great breakfast and fresh cup of coffee.
