Default What are you working on?

How about posting up pictures of whatever project you got going on.
Anything you may be working on. At home, work related, painting, anything.

And of course..cars.

I'll start ..
This is a upper manifold plate I just finished, it's gonna be wall piece in my
Man-cave.

Before...

After..

i'm:
-installing a new, stronger, 2mm wider belt
-replacing the bearings
-making four of those 4 little dogbone things out of stronger steel. these are bent, flimsy, and don't hold it together tight enough
-removing the casting flaws from the inside
-removing the burrs from the impeller housing
-deburring, polishing, and balancing the impeller
-shimming the impeller tighter for more boost
-polishing the housing so it looks presentable

and if all goes well and nothing explodes, in spring i'm getting a slightly bigger crank pulley for a little more PSI

Default Continental Tire Kit

Work!ng! still on the Continental Tire Kit project.
I have finished the tire cover with Plasti-Dip. The "Chrysler" script is about three inches long. At the bottom is an out of production door/drawer pull
for lifting the hatch upward. The handle is fastened to a metal bar inside the cover, so forces are spread over the width of the cont-kit.
I like the non-symmetrical look of the handle which suggests it is the cover release handle.

The yellow in the wheel cover center still needs be changed to white.
