Default Nightline

Don't know if anyone was up last night to hear the names of our soldiers that died in Irac. I was surfing channels when I found it. Even though I was tired I could not turn it off. I guess it was more out of respect. It really made you feel the sacrifice made for this mission. I regret that more lives will be lost still. Don't want to sound political here, but I think we are in the wrong place.

We could wait till they're all here in the U.S., then fight it out.

Then we could resist an invasion/occupation as the Iraqis are doing now...

I watched, too. Surprised to see as many women and ages 19 to 56.

I was in Vietnam , didn't really know why.
The guys and gals over there now, know why and I thank them
for their service.[^]Others may disagree it's OK.

Another 'Nam vet here, too. 4/68 - 8/69 USMC. I support our guys & gals, but if you know why we're in Iraq, tell me! [:I]
Afghanistan, yes, but Saudi Arabia has more to do with terrorism than Iraq.
Sorry, my opinion - not trying to incite. [^]

[xx(]Can't help answer that question...although I agree with you (especially on the Saudi link) but don't want to get political. Let's just hope we get as many as possible back alive. I haven't been over there, probably won't. I train those that go and have lost one former student and about a dozen wounded. Semper Fi,

Amen. That's why I like this forum - doesn't get too far off track.
