It will be take-out again. I figure Mexican food since I can usually eat it without a glutton attack.

I'm going to have to try some of that. We do the fish already. Looked this up and it sound worth a try. I also like broccoli. But with that you need to know that broccoli will thicken the blood.

That's how I make pea soup too.

My baloney soup is just a ring of baloney {sliced into 'pennies'} potatoes, baby carrots, a can of whole kernel corn, a can of sweet peas, a can of short cut green beans, and a can of mixed veggies sea salt, fresh ground black pepper and of course some water to boil it all in.

A few years ago my doc started giving me all kinds of flack because of all the salt I was using in my cooking so I switched to sea salt. It doesn't seem to take as much to get the good salt flavor for me, he is happy with my lowered sodium intake and I am happy with the taste so its a win, win.

I use the same basic ingredients in other soups too just use different kinds of meat. If I'm using chunks of beef I usually mash some of the potatoes on the side of the pan when they get soft enough to mash to thicken it and call it stew.

I'm an excellent cook, just look at the size of my women,...
