Default New Car Colors, what do they mean?

Maybe I'm a bit parinoid, but have you notice a lot of the new car colors resembles colors of the early 70's ression/depression.
Colors like burnt orange, lime green, a weard kind of red can't figure out the mix, and a few others you might think of a few too. Kinda scary either taste has been lost again or were headed for another ression.

Yup. I remember we actually had sheets with all three of those colors in them. The compression stick lamps in Avacado that had the spring on one end that held them in place against the ceiling. lol. Ghastly colors man, hard to believe they were ever "THE" look to have.
