I grew up in a service family (my Dad Army, uncle in USAAF, uncle in Navy was the last enlisted Naval Aviator, Master Chief Aviation Pilot) so yeah I like WWII nose art.

Dad was top turrent gunner in B25 in CBI, same unit as "BONES", post "Earth Quakers".

Rob342, my son Steve has a lot of similar photos.

He builds jet engines for GE now and was a 20 year guy in the Air Force, retired.

Steve once had the privilege of flying the boom fueler on the tail end of the fuel plane on a flight accompanying Stealth Bombers to the middle east.

His Forum name is aquacruisersteve, not as active on the forum lately, but his is the first year PT I've spoken about.
