I'd clean the engine with Amsoil Engine Flush, clean the fuel system with Amsoil Performance Improver and fill with Amsoil 0w40
Synthetic Motor Oil . This will clean sticky rings and the higher viscosity will lower oil consumption.

i should try it and see.. nothing to lose and don't really care about the current engine. would be a good experiment.

Hey man, I've heard that Amsoil will cure impotence and male pattern baldness. And if enough folks used it, we might even have world peace. So I say go for it!

Deep Hole Driller - A Drilling Publication by Atlas Copco

It one of the few trade magazines I enjoy reading.

mustang died out driving to work this morning in heavy traffic. look down and my temp gauge was 3/4 of the way up. the tune i run shuts the motor down at 240 and allows you to restart the car and drive for 12 seconds. so it made sense.

so on the side of the road, in the rain, i found i have a two bad relays in my two aftermarket DeRale fan controllers. i have two controllers, one for low, one for high. both relays were shot. i made the low speed relay stay on so i could get to a parts store. these were installed 8/12/2014 and power a fairly low amp nissan sentra fan. IMO no reason they should fail so soon.

my latest purchase was two under rated 30A 5 prong relays from orielly auto parts and i'm not happy about it.

anyone electrically gifted know where i can score some manly relays that will last me more than two years?

Check some of these out. You will likely need to make sure they are for constant use. And if so, the spec's might lead you to a name-brand version of the same thing.

Also, high resistance on a failing fan motor might burn out relays. It's something worth considering.

i'm really happy with how this is wired and theres no way to attach a different style relay unless i make this waaaay overly complicated. i like how i have it, i just want a better made relay that already fits.

i'm also pretty sure the fans are fine. they only come occasionally and only in heavy traffic because the radiator i have is massive
