happy new years yallz
Glad to hear you'll be back soon to PT'ing

State Farm is great insurance! I found that out once when a duplex that I was renting got broken into while I was still moving in, but I had already purchased renters insurance through State Farm. Just a couple thousand dollars worth of stuff was stolen, but I had replacement insurance. All State Farm asked me to do was to get a catalog and go through and pick out what was stolen, most of it had been tools that were easy to grab. The replacement insurance replaced all my old stuff, with brand new items.

Post some pics of your PT when you get it back.

One of my friends and co-worker from 28 years ago just lost his daughter in a four car wreck on Monday night. His grandson (2 years old) is in critical condition at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville. They're not sure Jacob will survive, yet. You guys please pray for Jacob and Steve and his sons. Allison was his only daughter.

the penultimate post folks. 2 weeks later we get turtle back (05 2.4l n/a)

The good-
I cant believe they fixed the jamb! the new list includes:
rear pass. door
a few a/c and interior panel doo-dads
falken a/s tire

used/refurbished includes:
rim
axle (with all our original brakes, spring, watts link ect.

The bad-
100 yards down the road Tara pulled into a parking lot. she stated the brakes were horrible and asked me to try it. Barely any brakes! I tried the Ebrake and still nada...
Took it back and dropped it off, and tara gets one more day riding in the ol chevy- she wasn't too happy! but I was beyond proud that she noticed it...
next morning we pick it up again and we both give it a test drive- brakes are back on point! (he actually over adjusted the Ebrake...but it'll lock up all four)
when I tried to get out of the passenger seat the door latch didn't work so that started one more fine comb look over. and believe me I even checked that our motor and tranny was in it. Yes, i've seen that one before!
Btw it took the tech 5 minutes to fix the latch and he apologized for all the boo boos which, hey, no big deal. besides the brakes... :/

total bill was 2800$ ish minus our 500$ which means 2300$ for state farm.
still no word on the nice lady who caused all of this but i'm sure that our ins is on it now that they payed it. all in all i'd give the shop a 7/10. would of been a solid high 9/10 but...brakes. However on the treating a women customer with honesty i'd say 10/10 which is very important...
Kellys Collision in Glendale az btw..
