No, that is my friend's Vette and we were travelling together. I had to haul something in the back of my Cruiser so I took that and he took the Vette and when we got to our destination I jumped in the vette and we went cruising (but a approaching storm cut that short)

It has a mildly fixed up (Non-Stock Cam and Carb) 427 with a bit over 400hp. Also has a 4spd tranny. However, for the most part, he drives it farily slow and I pulled ahead of him and snapped that picture.

However, on the way back we both got on the highway and I had my Cruiser floored. I got a couple lentghts besides him and he just hit the gas and took off as if I was stadning still (but he let off so not to speed too much)

OH, OK. The way some on this forum have been talking, they can outrun just about anything and I thought you were showing a pic of outrunning the Vette.

i'm looking at a 95 talon, 149k on the body, 75k on the engine (replaced at 125k with a used engine having 50k on it). i noticed the suspension a little weak when i hit a bump test driving it. the driver's side window seemed to roll down rough and the key didn't work well in the drivers door. the body is in perfect shape and i'd probably buy it minus these things for the 2700 he's asking, but i was wondering if you, or your friend with the talon had any advice.
