Default Power-garage RIPOFF Don't deal with

A warning for everyone, NEVER buy anything from " Power_garage" on e-bay.
They ripped me off on my OE-1, the guy claims it shipped on 7-15-04 but can't provide any proof. Refuses to file loss claim with UPS even though I paid for the insurance. I guess I have to call UPS on monday and try to file claim on this end, but I don't think I can do it. Anyone try to recover loss from receiving end with no proof of shipping?
Tom

IF power-garage shipped by UPS, there should have been a tracking number. It would probably almost impossible to start on your end without some sort of tracking number. Get onto eBay and file a complaint. Don't forget negative feedback on the seller. Did you use Paypal or credit card? They might be able to reimburse you or start a claim. Try and look the seller up with any available information including other eBay listings. You might be able to get an address or phone number and bug the heck out of them. Good Luck.

I have been in contact with him, and e-bay, through their online support,
AFTER I left negative feedback he posted a tracking number, on e-bay, that says it shipped on 7-22, he insists it shipped on 7-15, I just got off the phone with UPS they said no way. It went 7-22. I called him back with that info he says UPS is full of it, it went the 15th. Now my problem is this,,,, IF I get a box next week, do I dare open it and hope the EO-1 is there, or refuse and hope to get my $$$ back. I paid PP with a credit card, I know how to CYA. But do I take the chance it is there?
This guy has 78 negative feedback, most for shipping, in the last year. This is what I get for trying to save a buck,,,or a hundred bucks,,

At least it went! And it looks like you will get your item...a little late but better than not at all. The tracking number should tell you when it's expected to arrive. Some people get totally ripped off and never receive there purchase. Count yourself lucky.
