To Whom It May Concern:
I am a senior citizen. During the Clinton administration I had an extremely good and well-paying job. I took numerous vacations and had vacation homes. Since President Bush took office, I have watched my entire life change for the worse. I lost my job. I lost my two sons in that terrible Iraqi War. I lost my home. I lost my health insurance. As a matter of fact, I lost everything and became homeless. Adding insult to injury, when the authorities found me living like an animal, instead of helping me, they arrested me. I will do anything to insure President Bush's defeat in the next election. I will do anything that Senator Kerry wants to insure that a Democrat is back in the White House come next year. Bush has to go. I just thought you would like to know how one senior citizen views the Bush administration. Thank you for taking the time to read my letter. Sincerely, Sadaam Hussein |

Dear Mr. Hussein,
How odd. During that same period of time my income has increased by 40%, and I wasn't doing too badly just prior to that, thank you very much. My living arrangements have improved accordingly, and the purchase of two new automobiles during that time was rather simple and painless. My sister and her husband managed to retire early and are now travelling around this great land of ours, enjoying the fruits of their many years of hard work and planning. My parents, though getting on in years, still have excellent medical benefits available to them, their home continues to appreciate in value, and they are surrounded by family and friends who love them. I suppose it's all about decisions we make in our lives - and although I was never given the opportunity to lead a nation, I would like to believe that had I been in your position "gassing the Kurds" would have meant providing that group of people with a better dental program. In closing, I'd like to just say "what goes around comes around". Chump. Jerk. Sincerely (and with a complete lack of respect) Mike (in Orange) Bush/Cheney 2004 |

Dear Mr. Hussein and Mr. Mike,
In the beginning of 2001 i had a high paying job as an electrical engineer for a large industrial supply company. It was paying my way through college and gave me a bright future and insurance. After 9/11 through a series of unfortunate and related (to 9/11) events the company folded and my job disapeard. Along with 75 other highly skilled and talented people. Since then i have literally had to start over and am just now looking at getting a position as an assistant manager for a store in a mall. I had to quit school. My PC consulting business has pretty much been side shelfed, and i lost my insurance. Three years after 9/11 im in almost the same financial situation that i was in leaving highschool! Thank you Mr. Clinton for setting up the background for this situation, and thank you Mr. Bush for NOT pushing the technical field. Support technicians were once seen as necessity not overhead. Signed, A PC technican/out of work

technobear, sorry to hear about your situation. I know that I'm really pretty darn lucky because my industry was hit really hard after 9/11 as well. I'm in sales in direct mail marketing, and as if 9/11 didn't impact that bad enough the whole anthrax scare that followed saw the amount of direct mail advertising just shrivel. My industry has turned around pretty well, I hope things improve for you soon as well.

Fingerpointing is b-llsh-t nowadays.
Like either one of these dingbats coulda really influenced the chain of events. McCain in 08...Bush is like McCain's retarded cousin. Kerry is not much to vote on either. I for one am tired of voting for the lesser of two evils. Sincerely, One physician that is tired of the healthcare system Clinton (H and B) screwed up and that Bush has done nothing to fix

BTW - I have yet to vote for the winner in a presidential race, and I've been voting since '68.[xx(] I, for one, LIKED Gerald Ford - I felt he was honest - not exceedingly bright (Nixon was bright, but warped) - but honest. I didn't like Carter when he was in, but my opinion of him has gone up. I still can't believe we elected (and re-elected!) a spin doctor from Oklahoma, and have a president that was in an Animal House fraternity (DKE). Is this the best we can do????? [:I]

To who it may concern,
We find ourselves after 4 years attempting to decide who to elect to be leader of our country, the United States of America. And that is a good thing, as we need to make decisions as to whether the incumbent has done a goode job, or will any of those that are seeking the same position do an equally good job or better. And can any of these people work with all of the other elected government people to make the required improvements to contiue to make this a great country. But even more important are those that represent each of us: our Senators, Congressmen, and the state and local government officals? What are we doing to give them an equal amount of consideration when it comes time to elect them for their respective position? What has my local government done and does there need to be change. How about the local school board...that group of people that makes decisions and policies that immediately affect those that cannot vote yet. What have they done to improve the local schools: teachers, curriculm, buildings, education? What about local Senators and state officials...what are they doing with my tax dollars? Are they using my money wisely? The election is more important than for the position of President. It is for those that really have a direct impact on my community, city and state. Everyone should be taking as much interest in these people as they do for the position of President. To Who it may Concern, be interested and take part in the entire election process; not just the first couple of spots on the ballot! It is more than a Presidential election. Sincerely, Vote |
