Talk about a sleeper. He must have used a shoehorn to get the V8 in there.

Years ago Hot Rod magazine ran an article about swapping a small block chevy into the Fieros. Some guy had sold an adapter to mount it to the Fiero trans and the thing supposedly fit pretty well. I have to say, however, after helping a friend work on his Fiero once in dental school, I sure wouldn't want to have to be the guy servicing one after a V8 swap!

300+ HP in a what, 2000lb car! Sure it'll smoke a Vette...and most other sports cars on the road.

That's a lot of heat to get rid of - I'd worry about cooking engine, passenger and driver![:0]

Fiero...like the car, late models were good looking. With a powerplant like that. Weight distribution I am sure is messed up.
Looks like a nice job. Wonder what drivetrain that engine is hooked up to? Somehow doubt Fiero's stock system can handle the torque.

NM. Read the description more closely. Caddy tranny.

As a previous Fiero owner, I remember seeing these V-8 transfers years and years ago.

Depending on which V8 you go with, the added weight is less that 50lbs.

Seems like a lot of guys are opting for a Supercharged 3800 series motor. Slightly modified they make a lot of power and get great mpg.

I had an 87 GT (by far the best looking). Bought it with 70k miles, sold it with 144k, only thing I ever replaced was the alternator. Great car! Kind of miss it.
