I get my news from various outlets, I just filter out the opinion and deal with the facts.

Hannity and Colmes, you got an arch-conservative on one side, and they asked him "Who would you like to have on the show as your adversary?" So of course he picked a right-leaning "liberal."

I don't insult people for having an opinion other than mine. I insult people for hacking on the grammar of others when they can't bother with it themselves. I insult people who pretend to want to begin open-minded debates but then use the same closed-minded political arguments ("but the democrats/republicans do it too, waaaaahhhhh") that can be heard on any media outlet any day of the week.

Sorry if I came off as extremely hostile, but I get just as tired as anyone else does of hearing the same old crap and watching our country go down the drain in the process.

Didn't want a bigger liar and cheat in the office, so I went for W (all politicians lie, and all of them cheat). Bush has done a pretty respectable job if you asked me, considering we've had some of the biggest events in American history happen in the last 4 years. Kerry, well, he likes what you like, and he'll vote for what you want to vote for. You want the U.S. military to withdraw from Iraq next week, Kerry wants the military to withdraw next week. A month from now, you want the military back in Iraq, Kerry wants the military back in Iraq. He swings his opinion WAY too much.

Carter was the worst pres ever!
I didn't say Carter was a great president, I said he's the only president that I know of that lives his life as a real religious person - he practices what he preaches. He is, and was, honest - a real rarity.
By the way, Nixon was far worse. Undermined the constitution, kept us in Vietnam nearly 4 years beyond his promise, was paranoid, got his start at McCarty's side, and his attitude was responsible for National guard troops firing on students at Kent State.

Arthur,
I don't think you'll get many answers to your question since you addressed it to "you idiots", but the idiots voted for Kerry.
Joe

PS.. this is not an answer to your question. However, if you care to rephrase your question, I will be glad to oblige.

I'll stand up and be called an "idiot" that voted for Bush. And I guess that's the difference between those of us who wanted a man with character, morals and a respect for God, versus those who wanted someone that would discourage those same traits. 9/11, Iraq, now New Orleans...I cannot imagine what absurdities Gore/Kerry would have come up to deal with these?!

CHARACTER? MAN OF GOD? MORALS? How can you righties be serious about that?

Character? Took a lot of character to use his name and money to get out of vietnam, huh? Ever heard of a chickenhawk? Here are some more Chickenhawks: Cheney, O'Reilly, Limbaugh, all Republicans.

Man of God? The only God Bush worships is oil money.

Morals? Like invading a country that did NOTHING to us. Then changing the reasons for invading.

How would someone have dealt with 9/11, Iraq, and New Orleans?
9/11? Gore wouldn't have ignored Richard Clark and the Anti-terrorist taskforce when they presented information on an Al Quida terrorist strike using jets.

Iraq? Gore/Kerry wouldn't have invaded Iraq to finish Bush 1's war. Gore certainly wouldn't have made up reasons to go in there and then lie about them.

New Orleans? Gore/Kerry wouldn't have 50% of our National Guardsmen out protecting us from non-existent threats and they would have been here to rescue and secure all the damaged areas. Didn't Bush refuse 80% of the requested funding to help the Army Corp secure New Orleans. He needed that money to wage his war. How moral!

Don't forget his most recent moronic quote. "Nobody could have predicted the levees would flood."

Really? How about the October 2004 issue of National Geographic, every major news outlet, including papers, television, and internet. His way of dealing with it is typical Bush-pass the buck.

Bush and his administration should be in prison for what they have done to this country!

When are you Neo-Cons going to figure it out? These people are REPUBLICANs not Americans! They only care about money. Check the Haliburton stock.

Abortion is a big one for you too. Well, tell us all. The righties have the house, senate and the Bush crime family is in the White House. Why haven't they tried to make abortion illegal?

Are you guys seriously doing better under this leadership? Do they truly represent your values? Tax cuts for the richest of the rich. Sending our troops overseas for nothing?

Where's Bin Laden? Bush doesn't seem to spend much time on that anymore.

Kerry or Bush? The choice was obvious. I stand by my statement. You guys are IDIOTS!

I hate these political things but here are my thoughts. Ok, Kerry was elected. First move, bring our boys/gals back home where they belong. In the mean time, terrorist wackos rebuild training camps and rebuild factories to produce killer weapons. Now the wackos attack the USA in various major cities. After this I don't think Kerry would have anything left to help out New Orleans. Hey, its just a thought.
