Actually, that looks pretty good. A lot better than Ford when they tried to update the Thunderbird.

Check out this web site. It will tell you everything about this special edition 50th-53 and more. This is a friend of mine's 1998 that was made into one. A very unique ride. I toured the factory in Michigan, they have made some fine one-off rides. They had a gorgeous 55 in there that they dropped a LS6 motor from a Z06 in and painted it black with red interior. It was one that had been in a junkyard and was gorgeous, er is gorgeous.

Forgot the original question - answer is a 1997-2004 chassis is used to make this unique ride. Only body part still used is the doors, window frame and door frame.

It's a 97-04 chassis with a badly done 53' body on it.

Hood is wrong (too long and wide) and taillights are wrong for a '53, but that's what it's meant to look like.

From factory Corvette. Owner told me it was an 01' 50th Anniversary addition. No its not a kit its factory. They had only built 50 of them this one had a plaque in it saying it was the 14th made.
