Default Anyone addicted to Texas Hold'em?

Are you guys addicted to playing this as I am? I carried my golf clubs in my PT during the warm weather, bowling ball during the cold weather, and now poker chips, cards, and a folding poker table top around with me. I just need a trailer to haul around my fun stuff.

We also play every week on Fridays, sometimes Saturdays or even Sundays. We're considing of having our own tourny, comprising of several games spanning through a couple of months. The winner of those games will be invited to the tourny.

I just can't believe I really got hooked though. Kind of held me up in buying mods for my PT. I bought a couple set of KEM plastic playing cards and one of those folding table tops, which has an arm rest cushion (drink holder in the cushion) that will hold 10 people. The killer are those chips. A friend of mine has those 100% true clay chips, not the clay composite chips. The true 100% clay chips feel really nice and are not slippery when you do tricks or try to shuffle them. There's only one place that sells them too.

Yeah, great game. My nephew is truly addicted to the game. So much so that it is interferring with his job. He is going to the card clubs every day now, leaving work early and getting home late at night so he is late for work almost every day. I think this is going to be the curse of his life unless he gets it under control. He is 25 and just bought his first home before this addiction hit him. I hope he makes it through this. It is hard to watch someone spiral down like this.

Ouch, that is going to be hard. The media isn't helping either. It's even fueling to addiction even more.

Haven't bought the clay chips yet, but I did order the sample set. The clay chips feel alot nicer compared to the composite clay chips.

I can shuffle a small stack, working my way up to shuffle more. A few friends of mine can do various other tricks, which I'm trying to practice. Can't get the hang of it.

I found a site that shows some clips of poker chip tricks, which you can find here and here.
