Default If You need free PICTURE HOSTING (not an ad!)

you can use www.photobucket.com
unlike many pic hosts, they allow "hotlinking," which means your pictures will show up here in the forum. it does require registration, which is free, and gives you a pw protected account to upload your pics to. I am NOT affiliated with photobucket in any way; i just like to see pics of nice PTs!

It appears that many people are now happy using Photo Bucket. However, what may be "free today" could be "pay now" [B)] tomorrow. After using "free" photo sites for over a year I finally decided to sign on for a paid account so I would have total control over my pictures.

I just started to do photos on the forums and I use Photobucket for now.
My camera is a Sony Mavica that has a memory stick but also takes a standard floppy disk. I keep all my Cruiser pix together on disks and label them. The best go in my Photobucket account. I've only got a few shots of some of my mods so far, no "Glamour Shots" of my PT yet.
Here's a request for everyone posting pix from their host site, try to not delete the pix from your account so we don't get the red X. I've seen posts where the pix is gone in as short a time as one day. [:0]
As a courtesy to the forum readers, I intend to keep my pix alive and linked as long as I can. []

Very good point! Just remember, if you become unhappy with any Internet photo-hosting site (whether it is a free or paid account) and decide to cancel your account, then, the PICTURES ON ALL OF YOUR POSTS ARE GONE FOREVER! [:0] [B)]

I have already changed host accounts once and reloaded the same pix in the new account, then gone back to the forum posts with my pix and edited in the new links. WYSIWYG

Thanks, but no thanks. While that is a good idea for you it would not work for me. With more than 2600 posts in almost two years it would be an almost impossible task. [:0]
