denatured alcohol cleaner safe for monitor?

hey gary, is the alcohol mixture window cleaner safe for computer monitors and tv screens? it works so well on cars, thought i might try it on my dirty ol monitor.

Mike long as you use the correct ratio. 32oz spray bottle. 2-3 oz of DNalcohol/ fill with distilled water. I would spray it on a towel first rather than spraying the screen. Gary
