Default eBay Fraud for Drain Plug

If you use eBay, beware of a seller named PORTUKALIAN (Andrew). I've bought a hundred items on eBay with no problem. This seller says he sent me a PT Cruiser Magnetic Drain Plug 3 times but I never received it. I should have looked at his feedback better (I usually do, but it was a cheap item). He has 10 negatives for not sending items to other people. Now he has 11. Filed complaint with eBay and Paypal and will hopefully get a refund thru Paypal...or maybe even the plug if he gets pushed into a corner. 2 of the negatives were updated when they finally received item.

Thanks Cary. It is always a bummer to get ripped off. EBay has such a great potential for that to happen that it is amazing that as many transactions are successfully completed as their are.

Fortunately, this is not a big buck item but that happening even on a dollar item torques me off. I have had good luck with EBay so far but it is real scary when hundreds of dollars are involved.

Well, the guy must have seen my negative comment on the feedback section. Got this in the e-mail this morning...

"Your item was shipped again on 2/19/05 at 10:17pm from Vancouver, WA 98661.. Time to florida is 4-5 days, so you should receive by Monday or Tuesday.
Sincerely,
Drew"

This is the 4th time he's told me that he shipped it...we'll see.

Don't know how many of you are following this, or even care, but I just (Saturday morning) got ANOTHER e-mail from this guy...
==============================================
"Dear crewzin01,
A free replacement item was sent on the 17th. you should already have received it. sincerely, drew"
==============================================
So, the other day he said he sent the item on the 19th, today he said he sent it on the 17th. [:I]

...still waiting.

Crewzin, stick to your guns... keep updated with your complaint to Pay-pal and E-bay. I purchased a cellphone off of E-bay (she was a top seller and had 95%+ feeback) for about $300, and it conveniently was lost in the mail. She only sent me half of a refund, and promised to send more later. Well, after a month, I started sending E-mails to her, and filed a complaint to Paypal... never received the balance. Stay tight as a tick to paypal and E-bay, make sure they can do something about it. Sounds like this Andrew guy isn't helping much at all. Good luck, let us know how it turns out.

Another update: Guess what, Package finally arrived in the mail today (Monday). I opened it and it looked a little strange. It was a pan bolt with a small magnet on the tip but this thing was hugh. [xx(] I have an extra oil pan bolt and I have a nut that screws right on...well this nut didn't even come close to fitting the bolt that idiot sent me.

Then I go to eBay, and he left me a negative comment on my feedback. [xx(][xx(] I can't believe it, this guys an a$$ hole and he leaves me a bad comment. Anyway, I left a reply to his comment that anyone can see that he was to blame.
