Default T-Bird dead?

Just caught a CNN blurb - said they're killing the new T-Bird. Can the SSR be far behind? Too pricey and both only 2-seaters. The PT doesn't just look cool, it's very practical, not just a toy.[?]

So true QSD, but if I had the extra cash laying around I would have one of each!

The T-bird has been a lame duck for a while now. No rumblings about the SSR, but the halo factor and production numbers aren't there.
GM is dropping the sliding roof SUV and quadrasteer. GM has updated the GTO, time will tell. The Mustang seems to be a big hit. Chrysler's RWD cars all are hits, hopefully the Charger will do well, too. The focus should be to keep improving the quality. I wonder what is on the drawing boards (screens). The trucks and SUVs are styling and feature updates, the RWDs are early in their lives, and the FWDs are at mid-life. What will be the next breakthrough vehicle? I'm talking about the minivan or PT. A new idea that starts a new segment. It's gotta be so usable and/or cool that it's obviously the answer no one saw before.....
