I know I'm late but....

#1....She didnt put it on paper. We dont know what she wanted. It becomes the husbands choice and the parents are out of line.
#2....The parents are in denial about their child. This happens alot to people dealing with th lose of a child.
#3....Their child is lost.What was once her is no longer and it can never come back(or it has never happend and no known way it could)
#4....There is law for a reason and for them to want it changed just for them is wrong. And for there to be an effort to to change or bend the law is scary.
#5....How many people do you know that look at a person in that state and say...."Let me stay like that."....not many. Most people(a good 9/10) would want to be let go.
