Alex Update

Well its Thursday and the parts that I ordered should be coming either today or tomorrow. My guess is that they'll arrive never. I called the local Sheriffs Office in Orange County, FL and opened a file with her name written all over it. I told them what happened, where it happened, and how it happened. Now once again I have to wait. Wait for Justice to be served. I have a case number and as the person I spoke to with on the phone told me that as of right now its a economic case, until we find out if the parts will or may arrive. If they do not then the case will be handled furthur. I also told them I want to press charges if she is found. I don't just want my money back. So this is what I have so far, I hope this is enough to get the ball rolling.

In case any of you are new to this or can't remember AlexAlex sold some parts and rims on here a couple of weeks ago to me and other forum chatters. Well it smelled fishy to some and to me I ignored it. And thats when it happened. She no longer returns my calls. My e-mails, or my IMs. And thanks to the help of the Administrator and others we were all warned of her lying ways. But for me it was too late, I already sent her the money the way she wanted it.

So here I am updating you all on whats going on, if you feel like replying do so. If notjust read it and go about your day.

Wow, I can hardly believe she turned out to be a scam. Before I went up north I was one of the first to start coversing with her privately thru emails but I was hesitant about sending that kind of money thru the mail. I asked all kinds of questions but she couldn't answer some really important ones like who she had dealt with. As someone else on this forum said, it just sounded too good to be true as she offered anything anyone asked for which is something a ture dealer can't do. You have to be limited in what you can offer at the prices she was quoting. Hope they catch up with her.

The same thing happend to me a few years ago. Spent a couple of hundred dollars on a spoiler, and the guy took off to south america. I never did get my money back but I did file a complaint with the government, with an online fraud complaint form.

I wrote to her several times and she finally wrote back saying that you and I were the only people that she has got to send refunds to. Not sure I believe that but one can only hope. Well its been over a month since our favorite excursion into the realm that is Alex. I have not heard from any police despite several calls. I am looking at the local police site in Duluth hoping to find her. She on the otherhand has not sent me an e-mail claiming she has tried to contact me. She has however changed screen names on AOL IM to jbody00 she hardly ever responds nor does she ever pick up her phone. We have been back and forth with this sh_t long enough. I have been contacted by several members of this site with whom I have not responded and will be doing so shortly. I have layed low and tried to not lose alot of sleep over this. But returning to the site tonight and still reading about the scam it has set me ablaze with anger. I will get to the bottom of this. Thanks once again for everyone's encouragement and advice. I will be following up on everyone's advice soon. And for all you newcomers I lost $1,150.00 to that SOB and I will try my damnedest to get it back or get statisfaction, by placing her in jail. Keep the intel coming and I'll do my best to keep ya'll informed, thanks again PT Lilly.
