White's Ferry/Leesburg Cruise this Sunday

I forgot who started the idea of a cruise in our area, but I promised to follow up and here it is...

The local forecast for Sunday, 5/7 is SUNNY and 70.

There is a Starbucks at 12179 Darnestown Road, almost at the intersection of Quince Orchard Rd. and 28/Darnestown.

I propose meeting at the Starbucks at 10am, and talking about what we do after we cross White's Ferry. I can lead to White's Ferry, and from there to either Leesburg or Ball's Bluff.

From that Starbucks to White's Ferry is about 20 minutes, then another 15 to Leesburg. The Ferry only takes 5 minutes to cross the Potomac. It's about $5.

Leesburg would be good for lunch, Balls Bluff would be a cool hike/tour of a civil war battle scene and some nature.

I have a kid I would be bringing, please bring yours if you have one.
