Saturday Activities
Show grounds open at 8:00AM. Show will run from 8:00 to 3:00. We will provide coffee and Krispy Kreme donuts, FREE, to all show entrants.
All PTs that are to be judged will be parked according to their class. This will make judging infinitely easier for all entrants. We regret any inconvenience this might cause to clubs that wish to park together, but it has become a necessity to give you a better quality judging process. Independent judging teams will judge 6 classes of PTs.
There will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards in each of these 6 judged classes,
Original, Stock, Modified, Custom, Extreme, Pro Class,
PLUS: Neon/LED Display (6), Best Tailgate Display (inside the car) (3), Best Overall Theme or Display (outside of the car) (3), PLUS, Peoples Choice award; Best Flames, Best Graphics, Best Paint, Best Engine, Best Interior, Club Participation, Longest Distance, Daimler-Chrysler Pick, Turning Stones Pick, Remote Control Stock Winner, Remote Control Modified Winner. We have expanded the awards to 41 for 2007, up from 34 for 2006 and 27 for the 2005 show.
The Turning Stone Resort will provide a lunch, at the show site, from 10:00AM to 1:00PM. This is a cash only service.
Voting will take place from Noon to 2:00PM. Raffle tickets and 50/50 tickets will be available from 8:00AM to 3:00PM. The raffle drawing will be held at the show site this year.
Remote Control Car Races
Two classes will be offered. Stock, out of the boxcars and Modified, anything goes cars. Each class will run on a bigger track. Only PT Cruiser bodied cars will be allowed to compete for awards. There will be one award for Stock remote control cars and another award for modified remote control cars.
Awards banquet
5:00PM the Oneida Room will open with a cash bar, cheese and crackers and our DJ, Steve White. The buffet dinner will start at 6:00PM sharp. Seating in not limited but if you want to sit with your group, please try to arrive before 6:00PM. The banquet is available to all entrants, guests and vendors at a cost of $28.00 per person, payable in advance. You may attend the awards ceremony without attending the banquet.
We had such a great response to our video awards presentation that we plan to do it again. This was a big hit last year and the 2007 version will be bigger and better.
