Just got a PT yesterday

Hey im kinda new to this forum ordeal so i thought i'd give it a try. i just bought an 04 pt touring edition, not to mention all chromed out, yesterday. It had a little less then 90k miles but all if its high way miles and used ONLY as a work car. i mean 90k miles in less then 4 years is kinda alot to put on it. Well im just here to talk to people about the best mods for PT's and seeing how long-time owners feel about them

Congrats on your purchase. My wife's '04 has 99k on it. You are getting close to needing the timing belt, timing tensioner and water pump replaced.

avern, Welcome to the Forum!!!!!

My only suggestion other than what was mentioned above is Champion Platinum Plugs and Performance plug wires. I am getting a 2008 touring tomorrow and the first thing I'll do is replace stock wires and plugs with Crane wires and Platinum plugs, next will be ceramic brake pads for much less brake dust.

actually i was thinking about selling mine on ebay because i have no need for it....well we'll see what goes on with that i might be able to hook up a fellow forumer

please let me know. I really need one. I have a baby stroller in my trunk and I don't want it to fade from the sun. I haven't gotten my windows tinted yet. That may help but I need that shelf still. Keep me in mind.

Welcome and congratulations...You have a super car. Mine is a 03 and I am the 2nd owner. Thankfully my wife totalled her green (* Saturn station wagon and I bought my 1st PT. I love it to death. I can't dream of selling it. I love it more than any truck, SUV, or car that I have ever owned. It was cheap, is practical, fast, great looking,and fun fun fun to mod...there is close to 2000 items on ebay alone...not to mention all the other places. The best thing is this website.I enjoy it so much. Its like a great little club with wonderful people on it.

Plugs you can get anywhere. See Maggie at Raceandstreet.com for wires - Magnacor seems to be the consensus as the best.
