Default October 26 Th Fall Foliage Tour
Just wanted to make sure that you set the date aside...October 26th...for this year's Covered Bridge Foliage Tour. The leaves are usually in peak form around that time and the drive through the Bucks County, PA and Hunterdon County, NJ countryside is beautiful. Firming up details on the event, which we are doing jointly with Tammy's DelVal PTs.

Right now the route is still in the planning stage but we stay close to the NJ/PA line Rt 29 & RT 32 and drive about 50 miles. This is our 3rd year and it is one event you don't want to miss.

Greg, my parents live right off Rt. 32, just north of the Calhoun St. bridge. Absolutely great cruising drive. Good for the PT of the motorcycle. Sometimes it's too hard to decide, so I'll take a little time with both!!!!

Here is updated information

We'll meet at the Bowman's Wildflower Preserve on Route 32 just south of New Hope. Meet around 10:30 - take off around 11am.

Take a tour of bridges in the area...I still have to check them out for being open and such. In conjunction with the bridge tour, we will do a poker run. People will be allowed to play up to 2 hands (from separate decks) and the best poker hand wins. I'll have "formal rules" ready at the event. The driving tour will run about 55 miles.

After the driving tour, we'll wrap up at Peddlers Village in Lahaska, PA. People will be free to browse around, grab something to eat, or hang around and chat a bit. People may choose to bring a picnic lunch if they want to.
